Photocuring technology refers to the absorption of specific wavelength photons by photoinitiator under the irradiation of light, generating free radicals or cations, triggering polymerization and cross-linking reaction of monomer and oligomer, generating polymer with mesh structure in a very short time, and then realizing curing. And the photoinitiator is a kind of absorption of ultraviolet or visible radiation energy, so that the oligomer and diluent quickly from liquid into solid compounds, is the core component of the photocuring material.

With the continuous development of science and technology, a variety of new materials requiring the use of light curing technology continue to emerge, light curing in 3D printing, optical film, microelectronics industry and other emerging industries continue to evolve and iterate.

In furniture manufacturing and building materials industry, its application fields include hardwood flooring, PVC flooring, wood furniture and metal furniture, wood particleboard sealing primer, etc. In the electronic information industry, typical products include electric wire, printed circuit board coating, optical fiber, magnetic medium coating, photoresist (photoresist) and so on; Typical applications in consumer goods include peeling coatings for adhesives, leather coatings, coatings for plastic substrates, glass lenses for eyeglasses, etc.

Continuous technological progress in the UV curing field will make the application cost of UV curing technology lower and efficiency higher, give rise to more abundant application scenarios for UV curing technology, and bring broad market demand for related products. At present and in the next few years, relatively hot technology and product research and development directions mainly include:

UVLED technology: UVLED technology is the use of LED light to transform UV ink, UV paint, UV adhesive and other fluids into solids. Compared with traditional mercury lamp, UVLED light source is more energy saving, longer service life, and UVLED light source does not need to preheat, can be turned on or off at any time according to the need, more flexible use.

Water based UV curing material: Water-based UV curing materials are based on water-based resin, water as a diluent, using light curing materials. At the same time, it has the advantages of UV light curing technology and water-based coating technology. It is especially suitable for fully automatic spraying with lower VOCs content.
