UV curing coating has the effect of preventing pollution and saving energy, the chemical and physical properties of the coating are excellent, and the characteristics of rapid curing are widely adopted in many fields. UV curing coating is widely used in the production of plastic, vacuum electroplating, PVC floor, shadow cover board, automobile headlamp, wood floor, cabinet panel and so on. UV as a new processing technology has been widely used in China. The technology is steadily advancing at a rate of nearly 10 percent a year, especially in surface coatings and related industries.

The first patent of UV curable coating was born in 1947. Through the development of more than half a century, UV curable coating has become more mature technology, especially as people's awareness of environmental protection, production and researchers pay more attention to the development and application of UV curable coating. UV curable coating is a kind of green environmental protection coating, which fully conforms to the principle of "4E". UV - curable coatings can reduce the consumption of raw materials and reduce the economic cost.

4-Benzoylphenyl acrylate is a kind of photoinitiator. Photoinitiator is one of the important components of photocuring adhesive, which plays a decisive role in curing rate. After uv-light irradiation, the photoinitiator absorbs the energy of light and splits into two active free radicals, which causes the chain polymerization of photosensitive resin and active diluent, and makes the adhesive crosslinked and cured. It is characterized by fast, environmental protection and energy saving.
